This year we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the founding of our university. In the minds of the entire academic community, the history of Harokopio University is intertwined with the late Professor Georgios Karampatsos, who was the first Rector of the institution and a professor in our department. His contribution was fundamental in the creation and first steps of the Department of Informatics and Telematics. We hope to prove worthy of his vision. We miss his guidance very much.
