Athanasios Anastasiou
Short CV: Dr. Athanasios Anastasiou received his Bachelor degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, in 2005. In 2006, he received his M.Sc. degree in Digital Signal & Image Processing from the University of Central Lancashire. Likewise, in 2009 he obtained his second M.Sc. degree in Biomedical Engineering held by the University of Patras and the National Technical University of Athens (N.T.U.A.). In 2015 received his Ph.D from the National Technical University of Athens (N.T.U.A.). Since 2011, is member of NTUA’s Biomedical Engineering Laboratory and he also has experience in developing medical software in participation with international companies. His current research interests comprise Bioinformatics, Biosignal Processing, Decision Support Systems, activity recognition, telemedical technologies, Digital Image Processing, technologies for assisted living, and mHealth. He also has experience in integrating wireless technologies in health applications, such as Electronic Health Record Management tools and physical activity recognition using wireless sensors and mobile devices. He is a Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) - EMBS Society and Computer Society, Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE).

George Fragiadakis
Short CV: Postdoctoral Researcher in Human-AI CollaborationDepartment of Informatics and Telematics, Harokopio UniversityDr. George M. Fragiadakis is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Harokopio University, dedicated to advancing Human-AI Synergy. His research, focusing on the development of a comprehensive benchmarking suite for Human-AI collaboration, aims to enhance efficiency in various industries. Dr. Fragiadakis earned his PhD in Techno-Economics of Cloud Services, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Master's degree in Informatics and Telematics from Harokopio University.In addition to his research, Dr. Fragiadakis is participating in teaching at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He contributes to courses such as Numerical Analysis, Computational Mathematics, and the Operating Systems Lab for undergraduates. At the postgraduate level, he introduces students to programming with an "Introduction to Python" course, equipping them with essential skills for the modern technological landscape.With a solid foundation in technology and over eight years of industry experience, particularly in DevOps, Dr. Fragiadakis combines practical expertise with his academic pursuits. His proficiency in managing and deploying complex systems using Kubernetes and Docker directly contributes to his research focus.

Ioannis Kontopoulos
Short CV: Ioannis received his BSc from the department of Informatics and Telematics of Harokopio University of Athens in 2016 and completed his PhD in 2022. His PhD revolved around machine learning techniques in spatio-temporal data, distributed and real-time processing. Currently, he is a Postdoctoral researcher at the same department. His major research interests revolve around Distributed Systems, Big Data analysis and processing, real-time stream processing, spatio-temporal and trajectory analysis, and machine learning. He has been involved in several EU and national funded projects including Datacron (H2020), MASTER (H2020-MSCA-RISE-2020), Smartship (H2020-MSCA-RISE-2020), SOPRANO (HorizonEurope), GLASSEAS (OP Human Resources Development, Education and Lifelong Learning).

Evangelia Filliopoulou
Short CV: Evangelia Filiopoulou is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of Harokopio University of Athens. She received her undergraduate degree from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and her master's degree in the field of ""Techno-economic Systems"" from the National Technical University of Athens. In 2020, she received her doctoral diploma from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications in the field of cloud computing techno-economics. She teaches courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels at the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications. Her research interests include techno-economic analysis, diffusion, pricing, and resource forecasting of cloud services and their impact on market trade. Antonios Makris
Short CV: Antonios Makris is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Informatics and Telematics of the Harokopio University of Athens and a Researcher at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Technical University of Athens. He is also a Research Associate to the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems. He received his BSc Degree in Computer Science in 2013 and MSc Degree in Web Engineering in 2015, both from Harokopio University of Athens. In 2022, he received his PhD in the area of Distributed Systems from the same department. His main research interests include Distributed Computing, Edge and Cloud Computing, Big Data Management and Analysis, Machine/Deep learning, NoSQL Database Systems, High Performance Computing (HPC), Spatiotemporal and Trajectory Analysis and Stream Processing. He has participated in numerous EU funded and national projects.

Ioannis Mademlis
Short CV: Dr. Ioannis Mademlis is a computer scientist, specialized in artificial intelligence. He received a Ph.D. in machine learning and computer vision (2018) from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. In 2022-'23, he was an adjunct professor of machine learning and data mining at the Athens University of Economics and Business. Presently, he is employed as a postdoctoral researcher at the Harokopio University of Athens. He has participated in 6 European Union-funded R&D projects, having co-authored more than 60 publications in academic journals and international conferences. He is an IEEE Senior Member and a committee member of the International Artificial Intelligence Doctoral Academy (IAIDA). His current research interests include machine learning, computer vision, autonomous robotics and human-computer interaction. He has an h-index of 19 and, overall, more than 1060 citations to his publications (source: Google Scholar).

Ioannis Panagiotopoulos
Short CV: Dr. Ilias Panagiotopoulos holds a PhD degree from the Department of Informatics and Telematics, Harokopio University, Greece (2020). He also received a PhD degree from the Mechanical and Aeronautics Engineering Department, University of Patras, Greece (2009) and a Diploma degree in Mechanical and Aeronautics Engineering from the same department (2002). His main research interests are focused on the Intelligent, Connected, Cooperative and Automated Transport Systems, as well as in the fields of the Aeronautics and Aerospace Technology. He has participated in more than 8 EU-funded research projects, whereas he has published over 80 articles in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences. Since September 2020 he is a postdoctoral researcher and scientific associate at the Department of Informatics and Telematics, Harokopio University. Furthermore, since September 2022, he is a Project Manager / Senior Researcher at the Research Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS) of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).

Christos Sardianos
Short CV: Christos Sardianos is currently a Research Associate and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Informatics and Telematics of the Harokopio University of Athens. He holds a Ph.D. in the field of Recommender Systems. He also holds an MSc in Informatics and Telematics in the area of Web Engineering (with Honors) and a BSc in Electronic Engineering. His main research topics of interest are related to Recommender Systems and their applications, Machine Learning, Data Mining, and Data Analysis and Management. He has authored more than 45 articles published in International peer-reviewed journals and conferences on Recommender Systems, Knowledge Mining, Machine Learning and Content Personalization, focusing in the field of energy saving and human-centric systems, and has received more than 1100 citations. He has extensive experience in European and International research projects mainly in knowledge management, data mining, machine learning, artificial intelligence and personalized recommendation systems, with applications in energy and transport (e.g. TEACHING (H2020), MASTER (H2020 - Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action), (EM)3 (Qatar National Funding), and Fortissimo (FP7)).
