Short CV

Christos Michalakelis is an Associate Professor at the Department of Informatics and Telematics, Harokopio University of Athens. His research interests and field of expertise focus on technoeconomics engineering, costing, pricing and brokering services in the area of ICT, mainly cloud computing and the Internet of Things (IoT). He has worked for many years with the Greek Ministry of Education, as an IT manager. He has participated into a number of projects regarding the design and implementation of database systems, as well as in several technoeconomic and socioeconomic activities for telecommunications, networks and services. He has published more than 100 papers to international journals and conferences. He is the Director of the Postgraduate program Applied Informatics (https://applied.dit.hua.gr/) a conversion course (Master’s degree) in Computer Science for scientists that dont have a background in information technology. He is the President of “Study in Greece” (http://www.studyingreece.edu.gr), the National Agency of Greece (Hellas), for the internationalization of the Greek Universities.
