Alexandra-Anna Gasparinatou is a member of Teaching Laboratory Staff at the Department of Informatics & Telematics of Harokopio University. She holds a Ph.D. from the department of Informatics and Telecommunication, of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, in the field of "Educational Technology - didactic of Informatics" with an emphasis on "Adaptive Online Educational Learning Environments for Distance Education". She received the B.Sc. degree in Physics from the University of Patras. She holds an MSc in "Medical Physics", an MSc in "Computational Mathematics and Ιnformatics, of the University of Patras and an Med in "Educational Sciences" from the Hellenic Open University. In addition, she has successfully completed four thematic modules in "Information Systems" of the Hellenic Open University. Over the last years, she worked in Secondary Education as a School Advisor and as an Educator in Informatics. Since 2013, she has been collaborating with the Hellenic Open University as an Associate Teaching Staff Member. At the same time, she has supervised undergraduate and postgraduate diploma theses. She has published over 30 papers in international journals and conferences. She also participates as a trainer in training programs. Her current research interests mainly include the utilization of Media in Distance Education and especially Adaptive Online Learning Environments, Informatics Text Comprehension, Learning Styles.Office: 3.2, 3rd floor
