As part of the seminar of our Department's postgraduate program, on Thursday 23/05/2019 a lecture will be delivered by Ms. Despoina Mitropoulou, General Director of EELLAK - Open Technologies Organization

The subject of the lecture is: “Open Technologies and Open Licenses - Advantages and Utilization”. A brief description follows:

There will be an initial presentation of the organization (ΕΕΛ/ΛΑΚ) and the activities it carries out. Mature open-source software and hardware projects (software & hardware) and good practices for their adoption in both the public and private sectors will be presented. Reference will be made to open licenses and their advantages/disadvantages.

The speaker will be introduced by Dr. Varlamis Heraklis, associate professor of the Department.

The lecture will take place in the amphitheatre of the building of the Department of Informatics and Telematics (Omirou 9, Tavros), at 6:00 p.m.

We would also like to remind you that the lecture is part of the Seminar and the attendance of postgraduate students is mandatory. Undergraduate students and doctoral candidates of our department, as well as the rest of the University staff, may attend the lectures.
