Doctoral Studies

The Department of Informatics and Telematics offers the opportunity to pursue doctoral research in modern and dynamic fields of Informatics and Telematics.

The Department publishes official Calls for Expression of Interest for Doctoral Studies, which are approved by the Department Assembly and announced on the Department’s website.

The research topics and objectives of the proposed doctoral dissertations are shaped according to the scientific interests and research activity of the Department’s faculty members.

Each call includes:

• The title of the proposed dissertation
• The scientific field and research interests
• A detailed description of the topic
• The proposed supervisor
• The participation requirements
• The required supporting documents
• The application submission deadline

Application Submission Process

Prospective doctoral candidates submit their application electronically through the myDEP platform.

The application must be accompanied by all necessary supporting documents and certificates and is reviewed by the Department Secretariat for completeness.

The applications are then forwarded to the corresponding faculty members who are active in the relevant scientific fields.
