As part of the seminar of our Department's postgraduate program, on Thursday 30/05/2019 Ms. Konstantina Deligiorgi, Director General of Digital Policy & Electronic Governance at the Ministry of Economy and Development, will deliver a lecture.

Ms. Konstantina Deligiorgi is a graduate of the Department of Mathematics of the University of Athens, holds a master's degree in New Information and Communication Technologies from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Athens and a doctorate in the area of telecommunications and techno-economics at the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications. She is Director General of Digital Policy & Electronic Governance at the Ministry of Economy and Development and participates in several Information Society projects on information technology issues. Her research interests include techno-economic evaluations and price indices for telecommunications products and services. She teaches at the School of Public Administration of the National Centre for Public Administration and Local Government, as well as in Departments of Informatics of Universities and Technological Educational Institutes (T.E.I.)

 

The subject of the lecture is: “Entrepreneurship and Innovation”.

 

A brief description follows:

The presentation will include topics related to entrepreneurship and innovation, the drafting of a business plan, the remit of the Ministry of Economy and Development regarding financing methods, the operational programs with emphasis on ΕΠΑνΕΚ as well as the Ministry's electronic platforms for these topics.

 

The speaker will be introduced by Mr. Michalakelis Christos, Assistant Professor of the Department.

 

The lecture will take place in the amphitheater of the building of the Department of Informatics and Telematics (Omirou 9, Tavros), at 6:00 p.m.

We would also like to remind you that the lecture is part of the Seminar and attendance by postgraduate students is mandatory. Undergraduate students and doctoral candidates of our department, as well as other University staff, may attend the lectures.
