As part of the Seminar of our Department's Master's Degree Program, on Thursday 24/10/2019 Assistant Professor Mr. Christos Michalakelis, Assistant Professor of the Department of Informatics and Telematics, will deliver a lecture.
The topic of the lecture is: Study in Greece: When the University Innovates
A brief description follows:
The non-profit Study in Greece initiative began in 2014 as an enthusiastic initiative by students and faculty of the Department of Informatics and Telematics at Harokopio University. Today it serves as Greece's official web portal for providing study information to international students.
The initiative is mainly based on voluntary contribution, is under the auspices of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Education and Religious Affairs, and Tourism, and aims to promote the outward orientation of Greek universities, the implementation of international educational programs of foreign educational institutions, the attraction of foreign students, and the networking of the international academic community.
As part of the lecture, the initiative's development to date and its prospects for serving the academic community will be presented, within an ever-evolving international academic and research environment. A discussion will follow.
The lecture will take place in the auditorium of the Department of Informatics and Telematics building (Omirou 9, Tavros), at 5:00 p.m.
We would also like to remind you that the lecture is part of the Seminar and attendance by postgraduate students is mandatory. Undergraduate students and doctoral candidates of our department, as well as other University staff, may attend the lectures.
We would be especially pleased by your presence.
Kind regards,
The Secretariat of the Postgraduate Program
