Please be informed that, students (provided they are enrolled up to the n+2 year of studies)may be included in a status of PART-TIME ENROLLMENT in accordance with the provisions of Article 76 of Law 4957 (A’ 141/21.07.2022), Article 27 of the Study Regulations of Harokopio University (FEK. 4983 Vol. B’ 2023) as well as paragraph 5 of Article 130 of Law 5224 (A’ 142/5.8.2025) provided they belong to the following categories:
a) students who can prove they work at least 20 hours per week,
b) students with documented disabilities,
c) students who are also athletes and, during their studies, belong to sports clubs registered in the electronic registry of sports clubs of Article 142 of Law 4714/2020 (A’ 148), which is kept at the General Secretariat of Sports (G.S.S.) under the following conditions:
ga) for years in which they achieve a placing from 1st through 8th in national championships of individual sports with the participation of at least twelve (12) athletes and eight (8) clubs or compete in teams of the two (2) highest categories in team sports or participate as members of national teams in European championships, world championships or other international competitions under the Hellenic Olympic Committee, or
γβ) participate at least once, during their enrollment in the study program for which they apply to be placed on part-time status, in the Olympic Games, the Paralympic Games and the Deaflympics. Students under this subparagraph may register as part-time students, following their application being approved by the School's Deanship.
d) Female students who are in a state of confirmed pregnancy for the duration of the pregnancy and for up to one (1) year after the date of delivery
e) Students who have minor children up to the age of eight (8) years
f) Students who demonstrably suffer from chronic or serious health problems, as well as students with special educational needs.

Δικαιολογητικά:
α) Εργαζόμενοι φοιτητές:
Certificate from the Service (if it is a Public Service) or a solemn declaration of the employer issued via gov.gr (alternatively the certificate must be certified as to the authenticity of the signature), that the student works at least twenty (20) hours per week.
b) Students with a certified disability Certificate of illness (if they have not submitted it with their registration) from the special seven-member hospital committee, in accordance with circular no. Φ. 25Ι/171726/Α5/4-11-2019 of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports, concerning certification by K.E.P.A. of specific categories of candidates with disabilities or suffering from serious illnesses.
c) Athletes (only those who fall under the above categories (ga and gb).
That is, they belong to sports clubs registered in the Registry of the General Secretariat of Sports and for the years they achieve distinctions, during their studies. Submission of supporting documents, if they are not in their registration file,

e) Students (male/female) with minor children up to 8 years old: Family Status Certificate

The applications with the supporting documents of the interested students are forwarded to the Faculty Assembly for approval of their placement in a part-time enrollment status, which will also determine the number of courses that each part-time student may register for.
The maximum number of courses that each part-time student may choose is set at half of the number of courses provided by the Study Program per academic year, specifically:
5 courses for those enrolled in the 1st year of study,
5 courses for those studying in the 2nd year
6 courses for those enrolled in the 3rd year
6 courses for students in the 4th year

Διευκρινήσεις:
1. An annual updating of the documents submitted by the working student to the Secretariat of his/her Department of enrollment is required for the continuation of part-time studies, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable legislation.
2. The updating of the supporting documents does not apply to the other categories of beneficiaries of partial attendance.
3. The calculation of the maximum duration of study, as provided for in the above provisions of the law, applies to all the above-mentioned categories of students who are subject to a part-time study regime. The period of part-time study is counted as half toward completing the maximum duration of study.
4. The benefits for students in part-time status are the same as those for full-time students.
5. During the final academic year before the completion of the maximum period of study (ν+2), an application for part-time study is permitted only to students who have accumulated at least seventy-five percent (75%) of the required instructional and credit units to complete their studies.
