ANNOUNCEMENT

We would like to inform you that from 24/09/2012 undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students will be able to submit their application electronically for the issuance of a new academic ID card. The electronic address of the new service will be http://academicid.minedu.gov.gr. There you can find detailed information about Applications, the Application Submission Procedure as well as Deadlines.

More specifically, all students are entitled to submit applications for an Academic Identity Card. However, only the Academic Identity Cards of students of Higher Education Institutions (A.E.I.) will grant the validity of a Special Ticket Card, allowing them to be eligible for the discounts provided by the applicable legislation.

a) full-time first-cycle students who are not already holders of a university degree, for as many years as are required to obtain a degree according to the indicative study program, increased by two (2) years.

b) part-time first-cycle students who are not already holders of a university degree, for twice the number of years required to obtain a degree according to the indicative study program.

c) second-cycle students who do not already hold a postgraduate degree, for as many years as their studies last according to the respective indicative second-cycle study program.

d) third-cycle students who do not already hold a doctoral degree, for four (4) years from their registration date.

Note: Newly admitted students will be able to apply for the issuance of a new academic identity card as soon as they begin classes in the Department and receive their credentials.
