Suspension of operations of Harokopio University on Friday, 28 February 2025

Harokopio University, with a profound sense of mourning and respect, announces that, following the decision of the Meeting of the Senate (session no. 500/25.02.2025), its educational and administrative operation will be suspended on Friday 28 February 2025.

On this day two years have passed since the unspeakable tragedy of 28 February 2023, during which the railway accident at Tempi shocked the country, leading to the loss of dozens of our fellow citizens, among them students, members of the academic community. Harokopio University pays its humble tribute to the memory of the victims, while also expressing its solidarity with their families and loved ones.
