We would like to inform you that on Thursday 01/03/2018 as part of the seminar of the postgraduate program of our Department, will give a lecture Ms. Giota Paparidou, 1st Executive Vice President of the Board of Directors of SEPE.

The subject of the lecture is: «The Digital Technology Industry Drives the Digital Transformation of the Economy».

The lecture will take place at  the amphitheatre of the building of the Department of Informatics and Telematics (Omirou 9, Tavros), at 18:15 p.m. 

We would also like to remind you that the lecture is part of the Seminar and the attendance of postgraduate students is mandatory.

Giota Paparidou was born on May 4, 1960 in Constantinople and is married. She studied in the United States of America, holding a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Economics and an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics. She has served as Director of Private Sector Sales and Director of Consulting Services and Projects at the multinational company Digital Equipment Hellas S.A. In 1994 she founded the company SyNET AEBE, in which, until December 2009, she was Chair of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer. Since 2003 she has been a member of the Board of Directors of SEPE (Association of Information Technology & Communications Enterprises of Greece), holding various positions of responsibility. At the same time, from August 2005 until October 2012 she was a member of the Board of Directors of Information Society S.A., representing SEPE on that organization.
