As part of the Seminar of our Department's Master's Program, on Thursday 31/10/2019 Mr. Ilias Argyriou, Associate Partner at Ernst & Young, will give a lecture.
Mr. Ilias Argyriou is an Associate Partner at EY specializing in providing Consulting Services in the field of Information Technology (IT). He has more than 15 years of experience in technology and IT consulting, having participated in a large number of projects in Greece and abroad.
At EY he contributed to the founding and development of the Insurance Technology Center of Excellence (CoE) based in Athens, which consists of 80+ professionals and specializes in implementing software for insurance companies in Europe and the Middle East. He has extensive international experience, having led projects in the USA, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Sweden, Austria, the Netherlands, Spain, Russia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, etc.
He is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he completed a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science as well as a degree in Economics with a minor in Mathematics.
The subject of the lecture is:
Presentation of the company EY (Ernst & Young) and its main activities with emphasis on the Consulting Department and on services related to technology (software development, integration, data management, business intelligence, big data, digital transformation, AI) as well as analytics.
The lecture will take place in the auditorium of the Department of Informatics and Telematics building (Omirou 9, Tavros), at 5:30 p.m.
We would also like to remind you that the lecture is part of the Seminar and the attendance of postgraduate students is mandatory. Undergraduate students and PhD candidates of our department as well as the rest of the university staff may attend the lectures.
