As part of the seminar of our Department's postgraduate program, on Thursday 06/06/2019 Mr. Ilias Argyriou, Associate Partner at Ernst & Young.

Ilias Argyriou is an Associate Partner at EY specializing in providing Consulting Services in the field of Information Technology (IT). He has more than 15 years of experience in technology and in IT Consulting, having participated in a large number of projects in Greece and abroad.

At EY, he contributed to the establishment and development of the Insurance Technology Center of Excellence (CoE) based in Athens, which comprises 80+ professionals and specializes in implementing software for insurance companies in Europe and the Middle East. He has extensive international experience, having led projects in the USA, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Sweden, Austria, the Netherlands, Spain, Russia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, etc.

He is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he completed a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science as well as a degree in Economics with a minor in Mathematics.

The content of the lecture will focus on the main activities of Ernst & Young, with emphasis on the Advisory Department and on the services related to technology (software development, integration, data management, business intelligence, big data, digital transformation, AI) as well as analytics.

Mr. Tserpes Konstantinos, Assistant Professor of the Department, will introduce the speaker.

The lecture will take place in the amphitheater of the building of the Department of Informatics and Telematics (Omirou 9, Tavros), at 6:00 p.m.

We would also like to remind you that the lecture is part of the Seminar and attendance by postgraduate students is mandatory. Undergraduate students and doctoral candidates of our department, as well as other University staff, may attend the lectures.
