Dr. Zamani is acomputer scientist, cybersecurity expert, and educator with more than two decades of international academic, research, and administrative experience spanning the United States, Malaysia, China, and Iran. He currently serves as Assistant Professor at State University of New York, Empire State University and Adjunct Assistant Professor at New York University, specializing in cybersecurity, cryptography, artificial intelligence, networking, digital forensics, and penetration testing. Holding a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, his research focuses on steganography, watermarking, AI-driven cybersecurity, IoT security, blockchain, and cloud authentication. Dr. Zamani has led and contributed to numerous NSF and university-funded research projects, supervised multiple Ph.D. students, served as editor and reviewer for leading international journals, chaired global conferences, and authored extensive scholarly publications and books in cybersecurity and AI. His professional achievements include a patented digital watermarking method, industry collaborations in e-passport security and digital forensics, and certifications such as (ISC)² Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) and EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
