Panos E. Kourouthanassis is a Professor in the Department of Informatics at the Ionian University since 2010. He holds a PhD in Information Systems (2006), an MSc in Decision Sciences with specialization in e-Business, and a BSc in Informatics from the Athens University of Economics and Business. His research interests focus on pervasive information systems, electronic business, mobile services, and technology adoption. He has participated in more than 20 research projects as a principal researcher or project manager, collaborating with organizations such as the European Commission and national institutions. His work has been published in leading international journals and conferences, including Journal of Information Technology and IEEE Pervasive Computing, and has received several hundred citations. He has served on program committees of international conferences and editorial boards of academic journals, and has supervised numerous MSc and PhD theses.
