On 4 and 5 November 2017 the Department of Informatics and Telematics of Harokopio University, in collaboration with the Open Technologies Alliance (EELLAK), organized the nationwide conference of free and open software communities - FOSSCOMM 2017.
More than 800 participants, students, academics, researchers, developers, companies and communities interested in Free and Open Software attended during the two days of the conference, surpassing in attendance every previous event.
More than 50 talks and workshops were presented in 4 parallel sessions. All of them were covered live (live streaming), and in the following days the videos and the speakers' presentations will be available at https://www.fosscomm.hua.gr/.
A team of volunteer students from the Department of Informatics and Telematics, in collaboration with the department's faculty members, took on all the coordination and support of the conference.
