As part of the Seminar of our Department's Postgraduate Program, on Thursday 05/12/2019 Dr. Katerina Fraidaki, President of the Hellenic Association of Electronic Commerce (GR.EC.A.-Greek Ecommerce Association), will give a lecture.

Dr. Katerina Fraidaki is President of the Greek Association of Electronic Commerce (GR.EC.A.-Greek Ecommerce Association, http://www.greekecommerce.gr/), the national body for the rapidly growing sector of Electronic Commerce and Business. Dr. Fraidaki holds a doctorate from the Department of Management Science and Technology of the Athens University of Economics and Business, and is coordinator of e-Commerce activities (e-Commerce Coordinator) at the e-Business Laboratory - ELTRUN. She holds a degree from the Department of Marketing and Communication of the Athens University of Economics and Business and an MSc in Analysis, Design and Management of Information Systems from the London School of Economics (LSE). Since 2010 she has been the scientific manager of ELTRUN's annual surveys on the behavior of online Greek consumers and social media users, as well as for the educational programs and the evaluation of Greek online stores, and has carried out numerous studies on Social Networking and Electronic Commerce.

The subject of the lecture is: E-Commerce and Entrepreneurship in Greece and Europe: Results, Trends, Trustmark, Open issues..


The lecture will take place in the auditorium of the Department of Informatics and Telematics building (Omirou 9, Tavros), at 5:30 p.m.

We would also like to remind you that the lecture is part of the Seminar and the attendance of postgraduate students is mandatory. Undergraduate students and PhD candidates of our department, as well as other university staff, may attend the lectures.
