The Conference is being held for the first time in Athens and specifically at Harokopio University, is co-organized by the University of the Aegean and the United Nations University and is under the auspices of the Ministry of Digital Governance.

After a long hiatus from in-person scientific conferences, ICEGOV 2021 was held in a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend in person as well, in the Amphitheatre of Harokopio University.

The first invited speaker was Secretary General of Public Administration Information Systems at the Ministry of Digital Governance, Professor of Department of Informatics and Telematics of Harokopio University Mr. Demosthenes Anagnostopoulos.

Their innovation has brought our country to the forefront of digital change, improving its position in global rankings. It also focused on Greece's future potential to offer key solutions in the field of Digital Governance.
