Αναστολή/Διακοπή φοίτησης για το ακαδημαϊκό έτος 2025-2026
Students of the Undergraduate Study Program (who have not exceeded the maximum period of study n+2) and wish to request suspension/termination of studies (in accordance with the provisions of par.4 of article 76 of Law 4957/2022 (A'141) and article 26 of the Study Regulations of Harokopio University (Government Gazette 4983/09.08.2023 Vol. B')) for the winter semester of the academic year 2025-2026 or for the entire academic year 2025-2026 must submit electronically to the Department Secretariat, at the e-mail address
- Serious health reasons of the applicant or his relatives up to and including second degree by blood, with certification from competent public authorities or organizations,
- Reasons for conscription, with recruitment certificate
- Serious financial reasons
The student status is suspended during the period of interruption of studies and participation in any educational process is not permitted. Also, for this period, the rights arising from the status of the student (male/female) (academic ID, access to the Student Portal, taking exams, receipt of certificates and receipt of textbooks, etc).
Semesters during which the student is on leave of absence are not counted toward the maximum duration of study.
During the last academic year before the completion of the maximum study period (n+2), an application for interruption is permitted only for students (male/female) who have accumulated at least seventy-five percent (75%) of the required teaching and credit units to complete their studies.
After the end of the leave of absence the students return to the Department.
The application is submitted each academic year and not for the whole of the two years that the student (male/female) may take as a leave of absence.
